The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is deeply dismayed to learn that one of its field delegates, Jeannette Fournier, a public health specialist, was killed yesterday, 1 September, in an accident that occurred north-west of Ziguinchor, in the Casamance region of Senegal, on a road frequently travelled by the ICRC.
